“Olympic Dreams” my painting of a skier reflecting “The Lions,” famous Mountain peaks of Vancouver featuring snow capped tops.

The peaks were originally named Ch'ich'iyúy Elxwíkn" (translates as 'Twin Sisters'). They are sacred for their legal marker of a peace treaty, family, history and spiritual value.

These Iconic North Shore peaks are fondly known as the Lions as look like twin lions watching over the city bringing a magical, spiritual feel to our skyline and creating peacefulness.

“Olympic Dreams” represents hope for the future, inspiration to push for our dreams, while reflecting spirituality and peace and unity.

It was so special for me to create this painting celebrating and reflecting my beautiful home town of Vancouver!

I hope you feel the power and inspiration of this art. Please let me know your thoughts!
