Stacey Wells Aerosmith art was commissioned by the NFL Raiders at Allegiant Stadium.Curated. "Feelin Groovy" Aerosmith was born in the 70's rocketing to success and owning the decade. I wanted to celebrate the longevity of Aerosmith along with the era they began in, while celebrating their Las Vegas Residency. Thank you Michael Godard for inviting me to paint several artworks for this project! It is such a thrill and an honor to be commissioned to create art for this iconic stadium art project.

Fashion icon Peggy Moffitt whose unique looks and signature style epitomized 1960s fashion. Peggy became the muse of fashion designer Rudi Gernreich who designed this topless bikini. Peggy wore this Monokini on the cover of Women’s Wear Daily in 1964. The juxtaposition of the electric red and the rich olive green adds a wealthy feel with a dusting of glimmering gold. Interesting fact. Although 3000 were sold, only two were worn in public with one of those women being arrested.

"Rock Star Without A Band" my new painting of Howard Stern! I've been wanting to capture this cool face and character for a long time, so it's great that I got this sweet, commission order to put him on my easel ! The order came from a diehard Howard Stern fan. I asked him why he loved Howard Stern, he stated a few things and then said something that I felt summed it up . "He's like a rock guy without a band" To me this description really captured the raw honesty and coolness of being unique.
