I wanted to revisit some of my favourite artworks to paint.

I was invited to show my art at the Punk Rock Museum in Los Angeles. I had always been intrigued by the tumultuous love realtionship of Sex Pistol's Sid Viciuos and his girlfriend Nancy. My whole being was immersed in this story. I love getting into charachter for my shows,echoing the vibe of the story I am telling with my art. I was excited to find a Sex Pistol necklace of my own which I wore to the show.

Death By Sex Pistol The Smoking Gun

A painting of Sid Vicious and his sultry lover, Nancy Spungen. Nancy is wearing Chanel red lipstick and her signature Sex Pistols necklace. The smoke from the gun reads SEX, suggesting that the Sex Pistol, aka Sid Vicious, killed her. As Sid Vicious is licking her nipple, with a knife in hand, he is tenderly cupping her breast. Did Sid kill Nancy?
